On a cold January night in 1991,
Wes was looking to “keep his hand in” as a cartoonist. It had been
almost three years since the last Klyde Morris had appeared in print,
and Wes needed an outlet for his cartoonist energy. For that reason,
he bought a large sketch book and began penning “Star Ant”. From then
on, whenever the urge hit him, or he found himself with too much time,
he would open the big sketch book and add some stuff. To this day,
it is a work in progress, so don’t ask how it ends... because even
Wes does not know.
